This week’s last-minute news is that The Shutdown will be screening in Glasgow on Sunday 31st October as part of Words per Minute. And if you can’t make that screening, it’s also on next Saturday 6th November at the GFT in Glasgow as part of IETM and also at the Inverness Film Festival, among others.

Peter Gerard and Andy Green, the frozen-fingered filmmakers from Accidental Media & Distrify are hosting Hand-Cranked Docs & Ice Cream at Sheffield Doc/Fest this year. If you were in Sheffield in 2006 or 2007 you might remember our Scotch Whisky Ice Cream during the Channel 4 Pitch or in the Showroom lobby. This year we will be hand-cranking your favourite flavours during a discussion about “hand-cranked” filmmaking and distribution. The event will be on Saturday 6 November at 4pm. Just to Get a Rep is screening at the Displaced Expressions Festival in Copenhagen this Wednesday 13th October. The line-up features a bunch of great hip-hop artists from around the world and an excellent selection of films. We have just uploaded our latest music video - “Poetikal Refugee” by One S.P. and Dyems. The video was shot by Peter Gerard in Paris, Cannes and Edinburgh. One S.P.’s album “Réfugié Poétique” is now available.
